WALDEN: Nature Speaks | Saturday, 09.14.19 | Dallas Chamber Choir @ Moody Performance Hall

Dallas Chamber Choir, under the direction of its founding artistic director, Jon L. Culpepper, presents WALDEN: Nature Speaks, exploring our relationship with the natural world. So much of the beauty we experience is rooted in nature: the wonderment of the starry night sky and lit moon, the soothing rain that soaks the earth washing away impurities and smoothing out rough terrains in its downpour, the life-giving sun that shines even in the darkest places of our world and our hearts.

Music of Stroope, Clausen, Whitacre, Gjeilo, LaVoy, Hagenberg, and others

Also featuring:

Holding the Stars (US premiere) by Paul Carr

Specks of Earth by Andrew Steffen (DCC member)

The program is about 1 hour and a half long with intermission. You are encouraged to purchase your tickets online through Eventbrite. Print out your tickets or show your tickets on your mobile devices at the door. House doors open 30 minutes prior to showtime. The concerts are being recorded.
